in #newsletter
This month I've not spent much time on hobby projects at all. The main reason is probably that I've not been that motivated. However, I stumbled upon a few things that caught my interest.
I watched Geoffrey Litt: Dynamic Documents as Personal Software. What he describes feels similar to what the Canon Cat wanted to do. A world where there are no apps. Everything is integrated in a document-centric environment. This servers as inspiration for me in rlworkbench.
I also found I am sorry, but everyone is getting syntax highlighting wrong which I though was an interesting take on syntax highlighting.
Finally, I came across Bootstrapping a simple compiler from nothing (via Mu, via A virtual machine is a program that acts like a computer). I've not read much of it, but I feel like it would be super interesting to dig into.
I feel like I need to take some time off work to give myself some time to fully explore all my programming interests.
What is Rickard working on and thinking about right now?
Every month I write a newsletter about just that. You will get updates about my current projects and thoughts about programming, and also get a chance to hit reply and interact with me. Subscribe to it below.
